Ethernet - explained

Is using Ethernet? You may think that you are not t, but t do not be too sure. Ethernet is the place - if you use the Internet, if s home or in your office, you re using Ethernet.

Ethernet is two things: the type of cable to connect computers together, and computer communications using Tuners. In essence, the glue that unites the LAN (local network) together.

This system works by providing each computer network to a unique address, including printer, scanner and other resource sharing. So they can call each and easy.

Native Ethernet has all kinds of obstacles, but have been slowly working around as the years passed. Initially, for example, it is impossible for more than one computer to send data at a time - they brought in back to talk, if not all chaotic transmissions will rise. Every computer on the network and receive all the other sexually, but it wasn t just ignored what the address label. Of course, this is not so small and very large networks, because no computer has ever had the opportunity pass.

The solution to this problem is the reason that Ethernet networks today is how they put out. To the many uses computer networks immediately, the line was divided into sectors, and a small number of computers in each sector. These sectors are then connected to the switch. These switches reduce network traffic by only sending a signal through the network because they need to go that far - if not, they just dropped.

There are a variety of Ethernet, each with their own mysterious name - 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and so on. The only difference between them, however, is speed - 10BASE-T has the speed of 10 megabits (one megabyte) per second, while 1000BASE-T, better known as gigabit Ethernet, because it can transmit a gigabit (125 megabytes) of data over a network every second.
