WiMax supports peak data on broadband speeds of 20 Mbps. Most wireless operators jump WiMax, planning instead to build a network using similar technology called Long Term Evolution (Malte), is the successor to current cellular respiration technology. Malte is the next generation WiMAX and cellular respiration, a new technology called 4G. In addition, new satellite broadband service will be available in the near future that shook up the status quo even more.
